Established in 1961, Tynwald is a charitable home located in a pleasant area close to Hythe High Street, providing care and accommodation for people aged 60+ years.


We are the charitable provider of choice for the people of Hythe and the surrounding areas, because we excel at what we do.

 

We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of individuals who decide to move into a residential care home. We know how difficult that decision can be, so we are here to support you all the way.

We are not for profit; our service is strategically managed by our board of Trustees and Chief Executive ensuring that we are always focused on excellence.

We assess your specific needs, producing an agreed plan to help you begin enhancing your day-to-day life. Our service is always participative, working closely with you, encouraging and developing your independence at all times.

SOCIAL REHABILITATION

Social rehabilitation supports agreed goals to improve social, communication, cognitive and physical skills, build self- confidence, and a local support network, where you can start to develop new opportunities in a safe and supportive way.

HEALTH & WELLBEING

We understand that mental and physical health challenges can sometimes make taking positive steps difficult. We will facilitate meaningful activity, and for some people, we offer support
